Artemisia, an Italian geologist who works as a tour guide in northern Chile, returns to her home in Cortona after the death of her grandmother. A secret revealed in her childhood home alters the course of her journey. Amidst this new journey, she finds solace and love in Bruna and reunites with her mother after many years.
